The Quality Management System of Gibb International Ltd was approved and certified to the International Standard ISO 9001:1994 in 1997 by Llyods. Gibb International Ltd was the first engineering consultancy in Kenya and, according to the Llyods Register of Quality Assurance, the first in African to achieve approval and certification.
The company was subsequently audited in 2005 by SGS and certified that the GIBB Quality Management System complied with the requirements of ISO 9001:2000 Standard. The company's Quality Managament System was later audited and re-certified to the ISO 9001:2008 Standard in May 2010 and this certification was re-confirmed in February 2014.
