Maridadi Timberworks, is an emerging division of Mingoyo Group which incorporates Mingoyo Sawmill, Lindi , Tanzania, Mingoyo Serrco LDA , Cabo del gado , Mozambique and Zanzibar White Sands Resort , Zanzibar. We are situated at Plot No 5, Mikocheni Light Industrial area, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania at the Mingoyo Group head quarters. Tanzania Wood Industrial Cooperation (TWIC) was established in 1980 as a government parastatal organization. In 1996 we acquired Mingoyo sawmill Co. from Government with a different name, but because of the Mingoyo Sawmill Co's goodwill, in 2002 we changed the name of the company back to Mingoyo Sawmill Co. Ltd. The core business of Mingoyo Sawmill Co. Ltd is manufacturing semi finished components for music instruments; clarinets, bag pipes, oboe for export to our marketing centre in Germany and other markets in Europe.  With the establishment of Maridadi Timberworks, Mingoyo now supplies almost 80% of the furniture factory's lumber requirements from the Lindi South of Tanzania and Mingoyo Serrco, Cabo del gado North of Mozambique factories. Upon receiving the raw lumber from sawmills the processing start in our modern computerized kiln dyers before going to the production of furniture, doors and frames. We use the most advanced manufacturing machineries in the country. It has fully-fledged branch offices in Arusha, Tanga and Zanzibar.  MALAI FRIGHT FORWARDERS LTD was established by the Hon. Serve A. Malai a businessman consultant engineer and economist and Ignace A. Malai a seasoned Banker and excellent public relations man as Chairman and Managing Director respectively.
