The business commenced operating in 1983 and focused on the supply of lubricants mostly to the mining industry. Over the years we have expanded our range to include a wide range of specialised greases, Industrial Gear Oils, Hydraulic Oils, Motor Oils and Solvent Based Degreasers. Our specialised products are designed to reduce losses in areas where environmental conditions such as excessive water, dust, heat and severe operating conditions coupled with a difficulty in re-lubrication exists. Gibb International Ltd was the first engineering consultancy in Kenya and, according to the Llyods Register of Quality Assurance, the first in African to achieve approval and certification. The company was subsequently audited in 2005 by SGS and certified that the GIBB Quality Management System complied with the requirements of ISO 9001:2000 Standard. The company's Quality Managament System was later audited and re-certified to the ISO 9001:2008 Standard in May 2010 and this certification was re-confirmed in February 2014.

After over a decade of active and rewarding performance in the construction industry, TAF consolidated all TAF's operations into TAF HOLDING CO. LTD . TAF HAS brought together an unified system of management control and has a composite staff of 500. TAF is considered as one of the most dynamic young Gambian entrepreneur today, and a shining example of the breed of private sector entrepreneurs to lead his country into the 21 st century.
