Alam Group of Companies has been in existence for over half a century and is primarily involved in the manufacturing, building and construction industry. The Company was founded by Mr.Manzur Alam who is the Chairman of the Group. In 1965, Uganda Steel Windows Ltd was established under the Alam Group umbrella. The company was responsible for manufacturing metal doors, windows, louvers, shop front, slotted angles, hacksaw blades, wire ropes, welding rods, fencing, steel trunks, BRC and all kinds of furniture and steel pipes.
