Vonall is a newly established business deriving from the Von Allmen Ernest Aluminium and Steel Metal Workshop (VAE). VAE was established almost 50 years ago by Mr. Ernest von Allmen who came to Ethiopia to provide metal processing services. During his first contract in Ethiopia he was involved in a job on the palace of His Imperial Majesty Haile Selassie. Thereafter other contracts and work orders followed which expanded the stay of the founder. After a few years of working in the fields and on different sites throughout the country Mr. von Allmen decided to establish a workshop in Addis Ababa. The workshop was small in size but had an excellent reputation for metal processing in particular for aluminium welding services throughout the country. To this day VAE survived different regimes and socioeconomic ups and downs in Ethiopia and is still a house of quality.
