Squaredeal Uniform Distibutors was founded in 1991 by Mr. J.K. Rotich and Mrs. R.C Rotich as a Family business. Its aim was to serve the local community in the Western part of Kenya by supplying uniforms to major institutions, with a vision of eventually reaching out beyond the region to neighboring countries. At Squaredeal, we have a Quality Control Department that audits orders from all our clients. In addition, should you receive an order containing an error, we will promptly dispatch the correct uniform merchandise to you at no additional charge. Management Squaredeal is headed and managed by Mr. J.K. Rotich and Mrs. R.C. Rotich.  We have a competent staff of 40 personnel. This team is made up of qualified salespersons whose main task is to update prospective clients of our products and services. They work under the departmental Sales Manager.  The Production Manager heads up three important departments:- Supplies, Design and Tailoring The Finance Manager heads up the finances department and has a qualified team of accountants and clerks working with him.

Timsales is a wood-based industrial complex which manufactures plywoods, fibreboards, block boards, flush doors and timber. Timsales range of products are not only used locally but are also exported to neighbouring countries. With great integration between different production activities of the firm, nothing is wasted since the waste from one unit is used in the next unit and the effluent is recycled. Timsales can trace its begining to the great depression of 1929 – 1932. Like most commercial and private enterprises in Kenya, the Timber Industry fell into doldrums. In 1932, 7 saw millers of different races met together to form a producers cooperative and pooled their marketing efforts and resources in a move directly aimed at reviving the industry. The venture formed was known as the East African Timber Cooperative Society Limited which later changed its name to TIMSALES LTD. Immediately after the incorporation of the cooperative, Timsales opened its first yard in Kitale. The Head Office and another yard were opened on Sadler Street which is the present known Koinange Street in Nairobi. By 1939, considerable progress had been made and Timsales pricelists and standards were adopted as a standard of reference by all saw millers. In 1952, Timsales introduced celcure process whereby sawn timber is chemically treated by vacuum and pressure, making it highly resistant to attack by insects and fungi. This greatly prolongs the life of the timber. In 1967, Timsales, under its subsidiary Sokoro Plywood, established Kenya's first Plywood Factory in Elburgon. After 5 Years, Timsales Ltd. incorporated a subsidiary Sokoro Fibre Boards to manufacture hardboards at Elburgon. Today, nearly 70 Years since its inception, Timsales is one of the largest timber companies in Kenya with its Head Office in Elburgon. Other branches are in Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu and Nakuru. Timsales today, has a workforce of 1500 and supports approximately 6000 family members.

Unifilters Kenya Ltd is a leader in Filtration Products and related services. We offer quality aftermarket products for all vehicle makes and models. These includes on-highway products, off-highway products, agricultural, industrial and light duty automotive applications. We are based in Kenya and we have a wide network across East Africa. Our range of products include Fleetguard filters, Valvoline lubricants, Radiator coolants and Helden batteries. We have nearly 20 years of experience in the automotive industry. We employ a two or three-tiered distribution model, utilizing a network of appointed wholesale distributors to service independent installers.

Chloride Exide Ltd was first established in Kenya in 1963 as part of Chloride Group PLC in UK to retail and distribute Chloride Exide batteries. We have grown with time from a single Nairobi based operation to the largest Battery, Solar systems & backups systems operation in East Africa with three other fully fledged sister companies in Tanzania, Uganda and Rwanda. Chloride Exide is the sole distributor of Chloride Exide brand batteries which are manufactured locally by associated battery EA ltd. Our batteries are manufactured under an ISO 9001 certified production plant, backed by a service network running throughout the country, with 13 branches in Kenya, 2 in Tanzania, 1 in Uganda and 1 in Rwanda. Chloride Exide over 20 years experience in large solar installations & Power backups. One of the biggest solar backups has been in Serena where we have installed backups in all their Hotels including their establishments in Tanzania. We have also installed backups in Celtel (now Zain), Uunet, Kenya Data Networks, Safaricom and more recently in Kenya Revenue Authority. In addition, we have been involved in projects from the Ministry of Energy in Arid areas over the last 6 years. Chloride Exide has branches in major towns across Kenya. Each branch has fully equipped with spares and trained technicians who can install backups. This allows us to install our products upcountry without relying on outsourcing to ensure quality service. We are continuously opening branches in other areas of the country depending on demand. We also have over 500 dealers countrywide who deal in our products with our local support.
