Tanink Ghana Limited was also incorporated in 1998 as general merchants and manufacturers representatives. Through hard work the company won the dealership in Ghana for Terex/O&K Mining – manufacturers of mining excavators and dump trucks, and by steadiness of excellent after-sales service support, the company became a leading supplier of mining excavators in Ghana. In the year 2000, due to Tanink's excellent track record in service delivery, CASE of France and Astra Veicoli of Italy appointed Tanink as their local agents for Ghana and the West Africa region.  Fiat Auto – Italy, after careful evaluation of Tanink's business profile, achievements and infrastructure, appointed it as the exclusive agent for the sale and services of Alfa Romeo in 2002. In 2005, Fiat Auto granted Tanink the dealerships for the Fiat passenger vehicles and for the Fiat Commercial vehicles. It is no surprise therefore that in 2004, Iveco SpA – Italy, also appointed Tanink Gh. Ltd. as their agent in Ghana. Furthermore, Tanink also provides sales and support for the compact and construction division of New Holland, a full range earthmoving equipment manufacturer. Although young in the automotive industry, the philosophy of never compromising on our standards and our unwavering commitment to customer service, has made us one of the most progressive automobile company in Ghana. Tanink stocks genuine spare parts for all models in sales and on the streets. Thanks to the global network that Tanink enjoys, Tanink can obtain spare parts even for such vehicles that are 10 years older.Tanink’s workshops are fully equipped with tools (including special tools) for specific operations  hoisting machines  concrete ramps  electronic diagnostic machine to test all minor and major works including engine and transmission  spray booth  rebuild electrical components overhaul and repair  battery charging equipment, air conditioning repairs, etc. Tanink also undertakes body works, spraying jobs and upholstery works.Tanink has in place service vehicles for distribution of spare parts and emergency on-site repair works and general services.All workshop technicians and managers receive regular training abroad on the respective equipment. In line with its aim of achieving excellence, Tanink Gh Ltd. has over the years invested in the training of its personnel in The Netherlands, France, Italy, South Africa and Germany. On yearly basis, personnel of the workshop receive training abroad.Tanink Ghana Ltd also has facilities for training of Technicians and operators of equipment. Frequent visits are also made by Technical personnel of the various dealerships represented, for upgrade training of the workshop personnel, and where necessary, to assist on specific repairs and modifications on equipment.

Mechanical Lloyd Company Limited, a leading Motor Company in Ghana, holds the franchises for BMW, Massey Ferguson and Ford. The company was originally called Technical Lloyd, a Dutch-owned Company, operating in Ghana in the 1960s and dealing in Knapsack sprayers, BMW cars and motor cycles. The Company was purchased by Mr. R.A. Darko, a Ghanaian entrepreneur, in 1970, renamed Mechanical Lloyd and incorporated as such. In 1977, his eldest son, T.R. Darko, succeeded him as the Chief Executive Officer of the company. He undertook a complete restructuring of the Company, strengthening its top management and mobilising financial resources for the realisation of its full potential. In 1998 the Company upgraded its facilities in Accra by constructing, modernising and equipping its Workshop Facilities and Spare Parts Warehouse to a standard that the Company's principals described as comparable to most in Europe and certainly the best in Africa, including South Africa. The facilities were adopted as a model and a Training Centre for West Africa.In July 2001, the Company was appointed the exclusive franchise holder for Ford to represent the complete product range of one of the largest motor companies in the world.In 2003, the Company opened a modern workshop in Kumasi to cater for customers in the middle belt and northern sector of the country.
