Cobro is a private company formed in 1984. Collectively, the executive Directors have over 70 years of experience in the industry, and expert knowledge regarding Production, Plant Manufacture Sales and Administration. We are wholly committed to Black Economic Empowerment and score in excess of 60% on the Broad Based Scorecard set out by the Department of Trade and Industry All 120 employees are also `indirect shareholders`, participating in a productivity incentive bonus scheme based on quarterly profits.  LOCATION & PREMISES  Our total premises, situated in Cato Ridge, extends to 15 hectares, with our factory alone comprising 4 hectares. We are fully fenced and serviced with 90% of our production area undercover. Our own workshop and entirely mechanised production systems allow for efficient output per man, with raw materials and labour being in close proximity. PRODUCTS  COBRO's latest product line is a cost effective precast toilet system - COBROLOO. It is self-designed and manufactured, and intended to provide ablution facilities in rural areas, in keeping with the Government's commitment to social upliftment in South Africa.  Other product lines focus on the manufacture of SABS approved Concrete Pipes (ranging from 300-1500mm diameter) and Light to Heavy Duty Manhole Shaft Sections (750-1500mm diameter, in segments of 250-1000mm), in compliance with all Municipal requirements. Other products manufactured by COBRO include kerbing, Surface Channels, Guard Rails, Septic Tanks, and a range of other Precast products. All our products are steam cured through a fully automated, oil fired boiler, ensuring that optimum strength is achieved. These products serve the markets in KwaZulu-Natal and neighbouring provinces.

Initially known as a industrial manufacturer of speciality detergent, since 1984 DynaChem has grown it’s portfolio to provide an extensive offering that includes cleaning agents, accessories (brushware, mops, brooms and clothes) and portion control equipment. These product coupled with our service offerings make us a truly one-stop-shop.S.A.B.S certification has two components. The first component is the standard to which a product is manufactured that allows it to carry the S.A.B.S. mark. The second component is the factory quality controls that ensure these products are consistently manufactured to S.A.B.S. standards. DynaChem carries the S.A.B.S. mark on many of our products especially those used in food processing plants, where personal hygiene and bacteria control are a concern. We use a combination of local and international equipment suppliers as well as locally designed dispensing systems to ensure proportioning. Founded in 1983 DynaChem has grown its representation to six local and three international franchises. Certain franchises maintain SABS ISO 9001-2000 certified factories. This means that when you procure from DynaChem you get 80% of your spend recognised toward you own score card. DynaChem's franchises manufacture and distribute speciality cleaning detergents and products developed within our own laboratories. Together with these cleaning agents we also supply product applicators and dosing equipment. Certain DynaChem products where applicable carry the S.A.B.S mark of approval, specifically those used in the Food processing plants, Kitchen hygiene industry and other industries requiring strict bacteria and hygiene controls. Our products are tried and tested over the last 26 years. G.M. Associates CC is a company formed in July of 1986 for the purpose of developing and manufacturing speciality chemicals required by the mining, metallurgical and food industries. G.M Associates has more than 55 years of experience in the production, use and marketing of Guar, CMC and starch based products to these industries. The company specialises in gangue depressants utilising Guar Gum, Starch and Carboxymethyl Cellulose as precursors. The chemical modification of these materials is done in our factory in Robertville, Johannesburg. A flotation enhancer for Copper and Nickel ores is also manufactured. Modified Polysaccharide Polymers  G.M. Associates specialises in custom made polysaccharide polymers for various food, mining and other industrial applications such as; textile, building, paper, ceramics adhesives, etc. These products are all developed in our laboratories by highly experienced and qualified metallurgical engineers who are also responsible for servicing the mines and making sure that the products developed continue to perform satisfactorily. G.M. Associates also has a trading division to source any reagents and chemicals on a world wide basis. Our clients consist mainly of the major mining groups in Southern Africa.The company also supplies Guar based gels and gelling agents to the explosives and food industries. Crosslinking agents for gel and slurry explosives systems.Gempolym Drilling ApplicationsHigh viscosity GEMPOLYM products are used as drilling aids in oil well drilling, geological drilling and water drilling. These products are used as viscosifiers to maintain drilling mud viscosities that enable drilling fluids to remove drill waste from deep holes.These GEMPOLYM products also reduce friction in the holes, and so minimising power requirements. Some GEMPOLYM products act to minimise water loss should it occur in broken geological formations.
